2nd April 2026 – Huacachina & Ballestas Islands

We start the day with breakfast at our hotel before heading out for an exciting adventure.

Ballestas Islands Tour – From Paracas, we take a boat tour to the stunning Ballestas Islands, home to playful sea lions, diverse birdlife, and breathtaking coastal views.
Huacachina Oasis – We explore this magical desert oasis surrounded by towering dunes, a true hidden gem of Peru.

Dune Buggy & Sandboarding – Experience the thrill of riding dune buggies to the highest peaks, followed by an exhilarating sandboarding session.

Sunset Over the Dunes – We end the day with a breathtaking sunset from a carefully selected vantage point, offering unforgettable views.

Today is a free day to explore Lima at our own pace. We can relax, wander through the city, or choose from a variety of optional activities to enhance our experience.

Lima Bicycle Tour – Explore the city’s coastal views and hidden gems on a guided bike ride.

4th April 2026 – Airport Transfer, Cusco Arrival & Half-Day City Tour

We start the day with breakfast at our hotel before heading to the airport for our flight to Cusco.

Upon arrival, we are greeted by the ground team who will transfer us to our accommodation, where we can drop off our luggage and acclimate to the city’s high altitude. Afternoon: Cusco City Tour

Qorikancha – Step into history as we explore the Temple of the Sun, where the past whispers through its ancient walls.

San Pedro Market – Experience Cusco’s vibrant flavours and colours, sampling exotic fruits and soaking in the local culture.

Main Square & Cathedral – Marvel at Cusco’s architectural beauty and learn about its deep historical roots.

San Blas Neighborhood – Wander the picturesque cobbled streets of this artisan quarter, where time seems to stand still.

Sacsayhuaman Fortress – End the day with panoramic views of Cusco from this impressive Inca site.

All this while the tourist crowds are far away.

Maras – Explore the stunning Maras salt mines, known for their crystal-clear terraces. Discover how ancient techniques are still in use today to harvest the mineral-rich salt.

6th April 2026 – Ollantaytambo + Pachamanca + Train to Aguas Calientes

Climbing up, we’re greeted with views that stretch across the Sacred Valley, a sight that’s been watched over by these ruins for centuries. As the day winds down, we hop on a train, a short but scenic ride that takes us closer to the dream of Machu Picchu.

• Train Journey to Aguas Calientes – After a full day of exploration, we board the scenic train to Aguas Calientes, the base for our Machu Picchu adventure.

Return to Cusco
• Train Journey to Ollantaytambo – From Aguas Calientes, we board the scenic train to Ollantaytambo, where the ground team will be waiting to transfer us back to Cusco.

Just 30 minutes from Cusco, step into the heart of Andean tradition at Casa Sulca, where sacred rituals, stunning nature and living heritage meet.

You’ll start with a visit to the family’s private textile museum. Then, embark on a peaceful guided hike with your own alpaca or llama, winding through breathtaking landscapes with panoramic views of Cusco.

Vinicunca or Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain hike isn’t for everyone so we have made this an optional add on.

Arrive before the crowds and enjoy stunning views, free from the typical tourist groups.

As you hike, immerse yourself in the rich stories of local communities, their lives in the high-altitude landscape, and their deep reverence for the Apus, the ancient mountain gods.

After a 1.5-2 hour climb, reach the summit and pause to savour a moment of serenity while taking in breath-taking views and capturing photos without the usual crowds. If you’re lucky, friendly alpacas may even join in to make the experience even more special.
