Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya β€” β€œThe Smoke That Thunders” β€” Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, and witnessing its beauty in person is something truly special.

The sound, the power, the sheer scale of it. No nine-second video could ever do it justice.

And what makes it even more special? Experiencing moments like these with an incredible group of Muslim women who share our love for travel, adventure and discovering the world.

Zimbabwe, you were unforgettable. πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡Ό

Gliding through Botswana’s breathtaking Okavango Delta in traditional mokoros was one of those moments where we simply sat back, took it all in and thought… SubhanAllah, what a beautiful world we get to explore. 🀍

Some moments are too magnificent to experience from the ground. 🚁✨

A group of Muslim women, some helicopters and the mighty Victoria Falls beneath us.

From the excitement of boarding to that first breathtaking glimpse of the falls from above, this was one of those experiences we’ll be talking about for years.

The thunder of the water. The endless landscape. The sheer scale of Allah’s creation. SubhanAllah. 🀍

But the real beauty? Sharing moments like these with women who arrived as fellow travellers and leave with memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Because travelling with The Muslim Women Travel Group isn’t just about the places we visit. It’s about the courage to try something new, the friendships we build and the memories we create together.

Here’s to more women saying yes to the world.

Postcards from Botswana πŸ˜πŸŒΏπŸ‡§πŸ‡Ό

If we could send you a postcard from Botswana, it wouldn’t be of a place. It would be of a moment.

An elephant crossing our path. A giraffe standing beautifully still. A lion resting in the shade. A world carrying on, completely unaware of how extraordinary it is to us.

There’s something incredibly humbling about being guests in their world. No cages, no performances. Just wildlife, wild and free, exactly where they belong.

And what a privilege it is to witness it together. To share this earth with such magnificent creatures, and for a fleeting moment, be allowed a glimpse into their lives.

And perhaps what made it even more special was experiencing it alongside a group of women who arrived as travelling companions and left with memories that will forever connect them.

The gasps, the whispers, the shared excitement of spotting something extraordinary. The moments of silence when words simply weren’t enough. These are the things that make travelling together so special.

Some places you visit. Others stay with you forever.

And the most magical part? No photograph, no video, no postcard could ever quite capture what it feels like to be there.

Some things you just have to experience for yourself.

Wish you were here. πŸ’Œ

POV: You went on an African safari with a group of Muslim women and came back with memories you’ll never forget.

Botswana πŸ‡§πŸ‡Ό & Zimbabwe πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡Ό β€” WHAT AN ADVENTURE!

From tiny planes flying over the Okavango Delta to incredible wildlife encounters, breathtaking sunsets, boat safaris and the mighty Victoria Falls. Every single day felt like something out of a documentary.

But the best part? Experiencing it all with an incredible group of women who started as strangers and left with a lifetime of shared memories. ❀️

This is what we do at The Muslim Women Travel Group. We explore the world, make friendships and create space for Muslim women to experience adventures they might never have imagined possible.

Africa, you were absolutely MAGICAL!

Would you go on an African safari with a group of women?

12 flights. 3/4 countries. One unforgettable adventure. ✈️🌍

London β†’ Doha β†’ Johannesburg β†’ Maun β†’ Khwai β†’ Okavango Delta β†’ Mopiri β†’ Kasane β†’ Zimbabwe… and all the way back again!

Some flights were hours long. Others barely lasted 10 minutes. Tiny bush planes, remote airstrips, breathtaking views of the Okavango Delta and more take-offs and landings than I could keep count of!

And somewhere in between all those flights, we found ourselves on the most incredible safari through Botswana and Zimbabwe.

Would we do it all again? In a heartbeat. πŸ’“

Because sometimes the journey really is just as extraordinary as the destination.

Behind the scenes: A day in the life of an MWTG Group Lead! 🎬🌍

Ever wondered what it’s actually like to be a Group Lead with The Muslim Women Travel Group?

Well, come spend the day with Asiyah!

Every destination is different, every group is different, and every single one of our Group Leads brings something unique to the table.

And that’s exactly how we like it!

What do we love about Asiyah? Her absolute coolness. 😎

She’s Scottish, so you might expect a bit of that fiery Scottish temperament, but honestly, this woman is as cool as a cucumber! Nothing seems to faze her. Calm, collected, quietly confident and always ready to take things in her stride.

But behind every amazing group experience is a Group Lead working hard to make sure everything runs smoothly. From managing the unexpected to making sure nobody feels left out, there’s so much that happens behind the scenes that our travellers never see.

And when you’re exploring somewhere as extraordinary as Mongolia, no two days are ever quite the same!

Our Group Leads might all have different personalities, strengths and styles, but they share one thing in common: a genuine love of bringing women together through travel.

Come alone, leave with your people. πŸ’š
