These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with The Muslim Women Travel Group Ltd, trading as The Muslim Women Travel Group / MWTG (“MWTG”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By booking a trip with us, you (“you”, “your” or “traveller”) agree to the following:
Booking & Contract
By making a booking, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old;
- You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions;
- You accept that you are entering into a legally binding contract with MWTG as the organiser of your trip.
Our Role as Organiser
MWTG acts as the organiser of your trip under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.
We are responsible for the proper performance of the travel services included in your booking, regardless of whether those services are provided by us or third-party suppliers.
Financial Protection – Protected Trust Services
The MWTG Ltd is a member of Protected Trust Services (PTS), membership number 6496.
All package bookings made with The MWTG Ltd are financially protected through Protected Trust Services. Client funds are protected through the PTS trust account model in accordance with the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.
This means that payments made to us for package travel arrangements are protected in the event of our insolvency, subject to the terms of the PTS protection scheme.
Travellers can verify our PTS membership directly with Protected Trust Services once our membership is live.
Price Policy, Deposits & Payments
All trip prices are as stated on our website at the time of booking and do not include international airfare unless explicitly stated.
If internal flights are included, this will be clearly outlined in the “What’s Included” section of the itinerary.
Trips are priced per person, based on shared occupancy. Single occupancy may be available at an additional cost.
Prices are subject to change prior to booking.
A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to secure your booking. Payment of the deposit confirms that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
Final payment is due by the date specified in your booking confirmation, typically 8 weeks prior to departure.
Failure to make payments on time may result in cancellation of your booking without refund.
Late payments may incur a £30 late fee per week.
Each traveller is responsible for reviewing their booking details and notifying us of any errors.
Changes to Your Trip
We reserve the right to make changes to any aspect of the trip, including itinerary, accommodation, activities or services where necessary due to operational, safety or external factors.
Where changes are minor, suitable alternatives will be provided.
Where a significant change is required, we will notify you and offer appropriate options in accordance with applicable law.
Cancellations & Refunds
By You
All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
More than 90 days before departure: refund minus deposit and payment processing fees.
Within 90 days of departure: no refund.
Transfers may be permitted at our discretion and may incur fees.
By Us
We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to insufficient numbers or circumstances beyond our control.
In such cases, you will receive a full refund of payments made to us. We are not responsible for additional costs such as flights or personal expenses.
Flights & Travel Arrangements
International flights are not included unless stated.
You are responsible for booking your own flights and ensuring they align with the trip schedule.
We are not responsible for:
- Flight cancellations or delays;
- Missed connections;
- Additional travel costs;
- Flights booked independently by you.
Where flights are booked independently by you and are not part of your package with MWTG, they are not covered by our package arrangements or PTS protection.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory.
You must obtain appropriate insurance covering cancellations, medical expenses, personal injury and loss.
Failure to obtain insurance is at your own risk.
Health & Safety
You confirm that you are medically and physically fit to participate in the trip.
You must disclose any relevant medical conditions at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to refuse participation if we believe your health or behaviour may pose a risk.
Assumption of Risk
Travel involves inherent risks including injury, illness, delays and unforeseen circumstances.
By booking with us, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Traveller Behaviour
We reserve the right to remove any traveller whose behaviour:
- Is disruptive, abusive or unsafe;
- Puts themselves or others at risk;
- Impacts the group experience.
No refund will be given in such circumstances.
Special Assistance
Travellers requiring assistance must notify us at the time of booking.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate needs but cannot guarantee all facilities.
Accommodation
Accommodation varies by trip and may include hotels, villas or similar.
Room preferences are not guaranteed.
Optional Excursions
Optional excursions are operated by third parties and are not part of your package.
We are not responsible for these services.
Third-Party Suppliers
We work with independent suppliers.
We remain responsible for the proper performance of your trip but are not liable for events beyond our control.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for events outside our control including war, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, industrial action, extreme weather, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We may cancel or amend trips in such circumstances.
Travel Advice
We monitor UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) guidance.
We reserve the right to amend or cancel trips based on safety considerations.
Complaints
If you experience an issue, you must inform your Group Leader during the trip so that we have the opportunity to resolve the matter at the time.
If the issue remains unresolved, complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the end of the trip.

Photography
You consent to the use of images taken during the trip for marketing purposes unless you opt out.
Privacy
Your personal data will be used to deliver your trip and shared with suppliers where necessary.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms. The version in place at the time of booking applies.
