There’s something magical about women coming together in a new place. We arrive with different stories, different paths but somehow, the conversations flow, the laughter is familiar, and the bonds feel like they’ve always been there.
That’s the beauty of group travel. It’s not just about the places you go, it’s about the women who walk beside you , holding your camera, saving you a seat, sharing their snacks, and sometimes, their hearts too.

Excited to share that I contributed (tiny tiny contribution but I still did it) towards the Spring edition of @fridaymagazine.co.uk, a magazine created by Muslim women, for Muslim women thanks to the passion and vision of Sadaff Irshad.
I wrote about the rise of retreats, not just because I love a good spa (and I really do!), but because a retreat is so much more than massages and luxury.
It’s about pausing.
It’s about coming back to yourself.
It’s about healing, reflection, sisterhood and space , the kind we so rarely give ourselves in our day-to-day lives.
For Muslim women especially, retreats can be a form of resistance (discomfort of slowing down) and restoration. A chance to be seen, held and nourished without needing to explain yourself.
