The availability of the ‘pay a deposit to secure your spot’ option changes from tour to tour, and is dependent on the number of days remaining before the tour’s departure.
We will touch down at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. The gateway to adventure awaits! Our local MWTG guide will be there to greet us, providing essential information and answering any questions you might have. After settling in, take some time to relax and explore locally. An optional welcome dinner hosted by our group lead awaits.
The day kicks off with a delightful breakfast. Our driver will whisk us away on a Nairobi city tour. Discover the city’s vibrant museums, national park, and wildlife attractions. But that’s not all—Nairobi boasts fantastic restaurants, nightlife, and shopping, offering unforgettable glimpses into modern Kenyan life. After the city tour, we’ll venture into Kereita Forest for an exhilarating group bonding activity on the Kereita Zipline. Dive into Kenyan culture and savour local cuisine.
Today promises excitement. After breakfast, we’ll board a first class train from Nairobi to Tsavo, embarking on our first Kenyan safari. Tsavo West awaits, with its breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife. Keep an eye out for elephants (often dust-covered and red), lions, rhinos, hippos, hyenas, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, and elusive leopards. Our expert guide will lead the way. As the day fades, gather around the campfire under star-studded skies—the sounds of the wild serenading us.
Today is all about wildlife. Tsavo is home to four of the Big Five and they (elephant, lion, leopard, and buffalo), awaits our exploration. While rhinos are rare here, the park’s red soil gives elephants a distinctive appearance. Tsavo is also famous for its mane less lions.
Today brings us to the Indian Ocean’s shores in Mombasa. Soft white sands, rich culture, and stunning sunsets await. Take it all in—the calm waters reflecting the sky’s glow make African sunsets truly magical.
Today is dedicated to Diani—the Indian Ocean at its finest. We explore Mombasa on a full-day city tour, immersing ourselves in its vibrant atmosphere and coastal charm.
Today takes us across the water to Wasini Island. We will dive into the coral gardens, spot dolphins, and experience local culture. Village visits, dhow rides, and tantalizing seafood await—a perfect finale to our Kenyan journey!
The sun rises to the soothing sound of the ocean. Our hearts heavy with memories, we gather for a final breakfast together. It’s time to bid Kenya farewell, but fear not—it’s not goodbye; it’s “until next time.” As we transfer back to Mombasa for our onward flights, we carry the magic of this extraordinary country with us.
